The pilot project was undertaken to solve problems associated with the Public Transport Service in the Kandy area. The objective of the survey to provide an efficient transport service to the public and reduce issues such as competition, congestion within the vehicles, accidents. The evaluation was based on qualitative data from passengers, bus owners, employees and the officers in the Central Province Passengers Transport Services Authority.
