This evaluation was conducted amongst four broad focus areas: Service Providers, the ‘Service Facilitators’ the ‘Service Representatives’ and the ‘Service Recipients’ in the districts of Puttalam, Anuradhapura,Trincomalee, Matale, and Nuwara Eliya, where ChildFund already had the requisite Civil Society organizations (CSOs) already with the ChildFund Organization. The overall finding regarding knowledge, attitudes and practices of ‘Service Facilitators’ was that the enthusiasm of the CSOs should be linked to their knowledge since it was understood that different categories of those to be surveyed had different knowledge community based rehabilitation. Therefore the KAP methodology was tailor-made for each of the target groups in keeping with the objectives of the ChildFund International TOR.
